This is the privacy statement of AppyBee LTD (hereinafter: AppyBee)

Applicability

This privacy statement applies to all privacy-sensitive information or personal data that you provide to us, for example via a registration form, contact form, or orders/bookings you place via the application developed by AppyBee for purchasing services from third parties. We attach great importance to the privacy of our customers and therefore exercise the utmost care in handling and protecting personal data. We process data in accordance with the conditions set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). AppyBee can act as both controller and processor within the meaning of the GDPR with regard to processing your personal data. This means that when we act as controller, only we determine which personal data is processed, for what purpose, and in what manner. We are responsible for ensuring that your personal data is processed properly and carefully in accordance with the GDPR. When we act as processor, we act on behalf of the controller, processing personal data for the purpose determined by the controller. In this privacy statement, we explain what data we process and for what purposes it is used.

Purpose and legal bases for processing personal data

By agreeing to this privacy statement, you give explicit consent within the meaning of Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR to the processing of your personal data for the purposes mentioned below. You can withdraw this consent at any time. However, if you do not provide certain data to us or do not allow us to process it, we may not be able to serve you properly.

If you have not given us explicit consent to process your personal data, or if you have withdrawn this consent, the legal bases of Article 6(1)(b), (c) and/or (f) of the GDPR may apply to the processing of your personal data. In that case, processing of your personal data may take place without your consent, provided this is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are or will become a party, or necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by Nu theorie. In addition, we may be under a legal obligation to process your personal data.

1. Identifying customer / end user of AppyBee
2. Making offers via email
3. Sending offers via AppyBee and email
4. Sending information messages via AppyBee and email
5. Sending booking information via AppyBee and email
6. Managing service bookings via AppyBee
7. Managing customer payments for purchases/bookings via AppyBee
8. Registration and management of loyalty points via AppyBee
9. Sending birthday greetings to the AppyBee user
10. Managing payments when purchasing and paying out purchased services.

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

We may share your personal data with third parties if this is compatible with the purposes mentioned above. Providing data to third parties may be necessary for the performance of the contract we enter into with you, necessary for pursuing our legitimate interest, or necessary to comply with any legal obligation that rests on us. We enter into a data processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. We remain responsible for these processing activities. Outside of the aforementioned situations, we only provide your personal data to other third parties with your explicit consent.

Commercial purposes

We may use your personal data for commercial purposes, for example to inform you further about our services or relevant products or services from carefully selected organizations. In that case, you will only be informed at the email address you registered. If you do not wish to receive information about relevant products or services, you can easily indicate this by clicking “unsubscribe” in the email you receive. Your personal data may be used by us for market research and the optimization of our services. In this context, your personal data will be anonymized and can therefore no longer be traced back to you. Your data will not be sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes, unless you give explicit consent.

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. They ensure that the website works properly and remember, for example, your preferences. They also allow us to optimize our website. These are analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy, for which we do not need prior consent from you.

• Google Analytics on the AppyBee.com website: cookies are placed by the American company Google, as part of the “Analytics” service. AppyBee uses this service to receive reports on how the website is used and to measure quality and effectiveness. We use Google Analytics as prescribed by the Dutch Data Protection Authority to fall under the cookie law exemption, meaning we do not require your prior consent to use Google Analytics.

View, adjust or delete data

You have the right to view, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data. You are entitled to data portability if we possess digital personal data processed either with your consent or to execute an agreement concluded with you.

This means you can submit a request to us to send the digital personal data we hold about you in a readable computer file to you or another organization named by you. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data portability of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to support@AppyBee.com. To ensure the request for access is made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and citizen service number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, and at least within four weeks.

We would also like to point out that you have the option to lodge a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
