The “credit system” that providers use for strip cards and subscriptions is now obsolete and obsolete.

The “credit system” that providers use for strip cards and subscriptions is now an outdated and outdated form of customer loyalty. In short, the credit system is out of date.

Credit system 👎 out, but why?

A credit system is based on the fact that you have to buy credits first. Customers buy this via a strip card or subscription that you offer. That's actually where it starts. In order to sell separate training courses, customers must therefore first buy credits before they can even book a training. Not exactly increasing conversion and your first limitation. An example of the use of credits is that a personal training costs 3 credits and a group lesson costs 1 credit. So you can never offer a specific strip card in a focused and regulated way that can only be used for certain training courses. So this is your second limitation. And not to mention the different subscriptions you want to offer. Imagine selling a group lesson subscription twice a week. So your customers can only book twice a week. Right? Using a credit system therefore means that you can only “spend” 2 credits. Your customers are therefore limited to book a maximum of 1 week in advance. A workaround could be that you then spend multiple credits. But then it's no longer a subscription twice a week. And with that, we have the third limitation. Offer Combi subscriptions with the credit system? For example, group lessons twice a week and personal training once a week? Forget it! Not a real limitation, but certainly a limitation if you want to be a personal trainer or studio that wants to make more personalized offers to your customers.

So how does AppyBee 👍 solve that?

AppyBee has a thoughtful, innovative and proven approach without hassle. Selling separate training that costs, for example, 49, - Euro? Booked with just a few clicks and paid directly via iDEAL. A pleasure for your conversion. Within AppyBee, they book and pay for the training themselves directly. When you start selling strip cards within AppyBee, you define the training courses and absolutely no credits. An example; you want to offer a strip card for all your group lessons; bbb, boot camp and yoga. Within AppyBee, you can create a strip card and indicate that you can train 10 times. You specify which courses they can book for a maximum of 10 times. So your customers can never make a wrong booking, which will save you even more time. This also applies if you want to offer a subscription for twice a week. There you indicate which training courses they can only book up to 2 times a week. This means you decide how far your customers can book in the future, or even unlimited time. Transparent for your customers and you as a personal trainer or studio save a lot of time. And that's why our subscription module is “Smart”. After all, you can now also offer a smart subscription that includes weekly and monthly offers. For example, a group lesson twice a week and personal training once a month. You can find out more about this in our other blog.
